Get to know Frances Seroka

Frances was born in Tamworth and faced tragedy when she was just two years old when her beloved mother passed away. The difficulties she faced growing up in overcoming the fear and abandonment of this experience instilled many of the skills that underpinned her vocation: helping others through their own difficulties. That calling led Frances through a career as a nurse, her studies in counselling and psychology, raising a multicultural family and her life as a successful small business owner. Like any, hers has been a life full of setback and success. Frances has used her experience and training to find a faith in goodness, a calmness in turbulent times and an inner peace. This is what she wants to share with you. She wants you to learn that being a strong and whole person is a long-term undertaking. One that’s worth every inch of hard work.

Empowering you to change

Affective Counselling believes you must take an active role in changing your life for the better. Frances will guide, enable, encourage and support you to conduct your own research and break the behaviour patterns and attitudes that lead to a dissatisfying life. Frances has built her professional approach on encouraging people like you to reflect, examine and understand themselves. To shine light on places that are difficult or traumatic to explore.
